A Representatividade LGBTQ no marketing mix

Resumo

Clientes LGBTQ (Lésbicas, Gays, Bissexuais, Transgêneros e Queer) emergiram como um segmento importante devido ao seu alto poder de compra e as empresas mostraram um nível heterogêneo de capacidade de resposta a eles. Por um lado, algumas empresas demonstram maior interesse em se envolver em ações afirmativas e práticas amigáveis, por exemplo, apoiar direitos, patrocinar eventos, anúncios inclusivos etc. Por outro lado, há ainda o tratamento diferenciado, incluindo negação de serviço, escusa e preconceito, pois os resultados e incidentes relatados na mídia indicam que os clientes LGBTQ continuam sofrendo discriminação. Sendo assim, esses consumidores devem ser estudados, considerando-se as suas particularidades e necessidades. Dessa forma, a presente pesquisa objetiva compreender o quanto o consumidor LGBTQ se sente representado pelas marcas Natura e Skol, sob o aporte do marketing mix. Para tanto, foi desenvolvido um estudo qualitativo e quantitativo, simultaneamente, por meio de um focus group e um survey online. Os resultados evidenciam que os fatores relacionados ao produto e a promoção, do marketing mix, são os mais relevantes ao se tratar da representatividade e visibilidade do público LGBTQ. Ademais, estas evidências desvelam que, de modo geral, o público LGBTQ não se sente representado em nenhuma das marcas estudadas.
